Together with synthesizer-pioneer and EMS-vocoder inventor Professor Ludwig Rehberg, Alex Azary and Michael Kohlbecker produced the Taklamakan 10inch on Elektrolux. The music was originally produced as a soundtrack for an experimental space/sound installation, which was showed during the Frankfurt 'Ambiente'-fair. Then, visitors could change the sound of Taklamakan by touching movement-sensors, today it is in the hands of the owner of the record to change the flow of Taklamakan's soundscapes. The original length of the soundtrack was thirty minutes, for the vinyl-format it was split to 15 minutes on each side. Hi-Tech Child, one half of the Munich duo Future Funk, already remixed Taklamakan for Hey Babe! in a smooth and vibeful House version. Another Elektrolux classic!
